Emma Koch, Parker, CO

 

Emma is 11 years old and goes to Fox Ridge Middle School in Aurora. She started riding when she was four and has loved it ever since. Emma now rides and competes with Tess Harris and Paul & Dorothy Rohrbach at Wells Bridge Farm in Parker. She is currently competing in the Short Stirrups with her horse Worth The Wait aka “Ziva.” Ziva is a 20 year-old Holsteiner mare with the best personality. In the future Emma plans to continue challenging herself by competing in different shows and classes. Emma has competed in two “A” rated shows so far this season (Spring in the Rockies week 3, and Summer in the Rockies week 2) with much success! She won the Short Stirrup Classic at Spring in the Rockies, and placed 3rd in the Short Stirrup Classic at Summer in the Rockies. She has already qualified for CHJA Medal Finals in October and is really excited to be able to compete there. Emma loves hanging out with all of her barn friends and learning as many things as she can daily. She is looking forward to this upcoming season, getting better at riding, and working with the HH Team.

Brody Patton – Colorado Springs, CO

Brody is our youngest HH Ambassador at only 8 years of age. He is in the 3rd grade at Antelope Trails Elementary School in Colorado Springs, CO. Brody has two medium ponies named Just Push Play and Abby Lane. He is active in IEA and loves to horse show in Colorado. He rides with Karen Patton at Lilly Wood Show Stables. Brody also enjoys playing soccer and is a talented gymnast. Look for Brody this summer!

Maggie Klau – Niwot, CO

Maggie is a 17-year-old junior at Dawson School in Lafayette. She started riding on the East coast when she was 4, and she now rides with Jen Shannon at Cornerstone Farm. Maggie participates in IEA as well as competing with her horse, Brent, on the USEF and CHJA Circuits. She’s currently showing in the Children’s Hunters and the 15-17 Equitation and hopes to participate in more medals and derbies this season. Last season she qualified for the CHJA Medal Finals, and was able to work with amazing clinicians like Bernie Traurig and Julie Winkel. She enjoys helping her trainer and her team during long show days, hanging out with her friends around the barn, learning from as many people as she can, and working on the mental side of riding. She looks forward to this coming season and working with the amazing HH team.

Hannah Rohrbach – Parker, CO

Hannah rides with her dad and mom, Paul & Dorothy Rohrbach, at their barn Wells Bridge Farm in Parker Colorado. Hannah has been a fixture in the Pony and Children’s Hunter rings in Colorado since a young child. Last year, Hannah moved up to the 3’6″ – 3’9″ ring with her two horses and is excited for the upcoming season. She has been to Capital Challenge and Pony Finals, where she has had much success. Look for her in the Big Equitation and Junior Hunter rings this year.

Claire Gordon Neff – Boulder, CO

Owner of Front Range Show Stables, Claire Gordon-Neff, is a seasoned professional with more than fifteen years of experience and success on the local and national “AA” circuits. Having spent much of that time riding, teaching, and coaching for several of New England’s prestigious show programs, Claire brings a breadth of knowledge and a new perspective to the Hunter/Jumper community of Colorado. Claire’s expertise in developing young prospects and cultivating equitation talent has earned her a stellar reputation among customers, breeders, and fellow professionals alike. Claire operates her business out of two Boulder County facilities, Singletree and Reverie Farms.

Hannah Smith – Castle Pines, CO

Hannah is a 17 year old from Castle Pines, Colorado. She has been riding for 10 years in many disciplines including western, dressage, and now is a hunter/jumper/equitation rider. She is currently training with Codi Bair at Kent Hill Farm, in Parker. She enjoys working and riding many types of horses to become the best rider she can and enjoys the challenge of learning how to ride every kind of horse. She strives to learn as much as she can and is always up for a new challenge, and loves to gain hands on experience. She has been a working student for over 5 years now at a variety of barns and sees it as a great way to stay connected with horses. She prides herself for always working hard and striving to better herself as an equestrian. When Hannah is not riding she enjoys photography and can often be found at horse shows or at barns taking photos.
